Michael Pine & Associates is a health care consulting agency out of Chicago that contacted us about redesigning their current website. The goals were simple. It needed to be cleaner, more inline with their corporate identity, be easier to maintain and be expanded to feature information related to the new systems they are rolling out for their client base. Dave Bias, from thisdesignstudio, was brought in to help in the initial concepting phase as we set forth to create a site that was as visually appealing as it was well organized.
The design is clean and sterile, which is what you want from the healthcare industry, but careful use of color, a strong grid and the inclusion of a company based slideshow on the front page give the site a strong personality that can often be lost in sterile design. The design was planned from the beginning for growth, and throughout the process careful attention was paid not just to the information going into the initial launch, but what the site may need to include 1 year from now (or 5 years from now).
