The Glen Rock Inn is a family friendly eatery that needed an online facelift to help set them apart from the rise in competition from the likes of nationwide chains such as Applebee’s, Cracker Barrel, etc. We were supplied with some photos of the dining room and were drawn in by the friendly feel of the room. We wanted to recreate that feel through their website.
The background was created to match the wood table tops. This gave the site viewer the impression they were right there at the table. The site’s main content area was scanned in from a piece of textured French paper and made into a repeating tile, as if becoming the menu. Some final accents were placed around the page to finalize the effect. The final site is clean, organized, warm and most importantly, inviting.
