Children's Readers

Client
Miro Design

Date
August 2008

Miro Design brought us in to handle the Unit opening spreads for a serious of children readers they were working on. As with all educational material, the content is the first and foremost element on the page, conveying a clear lesson to the student, but that lesson needs to be wrapped in a way that’s engaging to the child. Colorful type treatments were paired with full spread imagery and a strict grid was used for continuity throughout. The unit information is revealed in the upper left corner of the page as part of each image is torn away, revealing the intent of the lesson.
