Burnt Brown Sounds had a website. The problem was, it didn’t work for them. The site had been put together by their previous designer as a collection of jpegs, uploaded to be forgotten for all time, and more importantly, ignored by the search engine spiders. That’s when they called us.
We began with the original design, keeping certain elements, throwing other elements away, and massaging it into a design that was cleaner and easier for the user to navigate. From there, we began building the pages around a content management system that would allow them, for the first time, the ability to maintain the site’s content on their own.
During the process we added a news blog to the site and an integrated shopping cart system. The final product was a site that retained the look and feel they had worked hard to build, but was much easier for them to maintain.
