With the label’s new logo came a new website. The website was launched in conjunction with the label’s new logo and that summer’s sampler CD and tied the various design elements together while leaving enough room for the site to grow without being tied to that design.
The site was one of my first forays into Content Management System’s and was powered by a system that allowed not only the label to login and maintain the site, but also each band was given access to login and update their own info (bio, tour dates, images, etc.). The main image was powered by a 5 line image rotation javascript I put together as a test (and it has proven to be one of my most powerful and flexible tools to date). All in all, the site was truly built looking forward from a label that was just beginning to a label that would grow exponentially year over year.
